The wet markets in Singapore have a symbiotic relationship to our food hawkers that go back to the days where travelling hawkers were a common sight in Singapore during the 19th century to mid-20th century, peddling food, drinks, vegetables, poultry and sundries. Wet markets promise charm and authenticity that supermarkets and online grocers cannot replicate...
In our Market to Table experience, we aspire to help
participants discover the rare treasures of uncommon
vegetables and fresh produce, relate to stories of the
market and food hawkers, and taste hawker food prepared
using the market’s daily produce.
Join us in a discovery journey through a guided experience
involving storytelling, scavenger hunt (yes, in our wet
market!), hands-on cooking and live demo by our hawkers!

Terms and Conditions
- Minimum of 8 pax are required for the tour to commence. If total number of travellers do not match the minimum requirement for this trip, the tour will be cancelled and you will receive a notification e-mail 3 day(s) prior to departure
- Only fully vaccinated participarents are allowed to join the tour
- Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least 8 days before the selected activity date
- 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made at 4-7 days before the selected activity date
- No refund will be issued for cancellations made at 1-3 days before the selected activity date

Hawker Feast

Hawker Culture in Singapore was successfully inscribed as
Singapore’s first element on the UNESCO Representative List of
the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on 16 Dec 2020.
In our Hawker Feast, you will be able to taste the delicious
heritage hawker food, hear the story of our hawkers about
“From street to Complex” and their hawkerpreneur’s spirit, as
well as exeprience the Singapore Hawker Culture...
Includes:
- Warm welcome with delicious hawker food by our hawkers.
- Interact with hawkers and hear their stories.
- Designated areas for dining in the hawker centre
- The veteran hawkers share about their 1960’s street hawker experience
- The young hawkers share about their passions on the heritage food.

Travel back to the 1960s
Chinatown Complex was built in 1983 to relocate the street
hawkers from the surrounding streets. The dining experience at
the hawker centre is totally different from the past.
One thing that makes Chinatown Complex special is their long
time customer. Most of them are in their 70s or 80s now, they
have moved to other places in Singapore but on weekends and
public holidays, you will see many of them gather together at
Chinatown Complex.
To reminiscing the good old days,
join us at level 1, and take a selfie or wefie at the 1960’s
booth.
